Strapon high-quality ratchet lashings can be used to secure heavy loads in transit, minimising the risk of an accident. All of our ratchet lashing systems have a Minimum Breaking Strength (MBS) that governs how much force the strap can endure; you must observe the MBS at all times to ensure effectiveness.
If you are transporting goods - especially heavy goods - you must use the appropriate load restraining equipment to ensure that your load does not come loose whilst in motion. Failure to secure a load with ratchet lashings (or a similar system) can result in damaged goods, as well as injury and even death if your unsecured load causes an accident.
Ratchet lashing straps should be used regardless of distance. Whether you are making a cross-country delivery or using a forklift to move some pallets from one side of your warehouse to the other, you must always secure the load properly before setting off.
